The Curling Champion Went to Starbucks And Didn't Get A Smoothie

Let me just fill you in on the last couple of days. So on Friday, we had a lecture on global warming, then we split up into our groups and worked on our proposal. We all went on a little field trip to the streamhouse, where we swam in the swimming hole. I literally kneed a huge rock and I have two little bruises on my knees. It's alright I didn't reopen anything. We had a discussion about global warming and sustainable development and the FUTURE!! We continued our talk while we ate dinner and then played charades for three hours. The title of this blog entry is one of the scenarios one team had to get out. It started getting very random and competitive. A little belligerent too. Then we got back and figured out the birthday twins.

Next day. Desmond gave us a talk about Astrobiology, which was interesting. Then we went to Arecibo, the biggest radio telescope. It was a rainy day. Pouring. We went to the mall for a little and noticed that all the Puerto Rican males have intensely waxed and shaped eyebrows. It's strange. Our bat excursion got cancelled so another 2 hours back to El Yunque with the world's worst bus driver. We were all doing backflips, unintentionally. Started to watch the movie Seven last night, but we were all falling asleep so we are gonna watch the rest of it today. It was a good movie but we were all so exhausted.

Today I slept in until 10!!!! Great day. We bought cereal and bananas and peanut butter at walmart yesterday so just ate some of that. We gotta finish our proposals today and then salsa lessons!
